shade pumpkins?

Hi. I'm new to this. I decided to grow some pumpkins in my yard last year
and I thought it worked out alright; I had four 15lb. pumpkins on 3 plants.
This year I tried giants but all the fruit rotted. I ended up yielding just
3 jack-o-lantern type pumpkins. There is quite a bit of shade in my yard but
there are some key spots that may get 6 hours of sunlight during a summer
day. Are there any pumpkin varieties that do well with shade or less
sunlight than normal. I would like to grow some that exceed 50lbs.,
anything?
