weigh off

Well, right now my pumpkin measures 77" side-to side, 72.5 tip to
tip and 121" circumfrence. Using the Stellpflug circumfrence method of
weight its about 400lbs. But using the Dill method in Don LAngevine's book
its up over 500lbs. What do you think, closer to 400 or 500? If I had to
guess I would say 430lbs. The back up pumpkin on the same plant was culled
late and was entered in the county fair and won with a weight of 230lbs. It
was 92" around and was estimated at 185lbs. It has similar proportions to
the larger one.Which makes me think it is larger than 400lbs.
Anyways it is still growing at about.25 to .50 inches a day and I
don't know whether to take it to the Barnesville Ohio weigh off on sept. 24
or the St. Johns Michigan weigh off on oct 4th? Also are there any other
weigh offs in the Ohio-Indiana-Michigan area anyone out there knows of. I
live in north central Ohio.

P.S. Can anyone give me directions to the St. Johns MIch.Weighoff? I will
be coming up from route 23.

Thanks,
John
