I had my sprinkler on too from 5 am to 8 am. I had to get up every
couple of hours during the night to see how cold it was getting. By 5 am
the weather site said 0.3 degrees so I went out and started the
sprinkler. No damage except for a few leaves along the edge where the
sprinler didn't reach. The pumpkin itseld has its own little furnace and
is steady around 20 degrees C,

Barring disaster I'll be there. We should figure out a time/place for
all the list members attending to meet up.

I've found that after the first week in September it all slows down very
quickly, but I still make every effort to keep it going and get those
few extra pounds.

If the forcast is for a low of 0 or -1 it usually doesn't get there
until just before dawn, so you can get up early and minimize the
watering time.

With any luck we'll both make the top 10 8-)
