1000 + Pumpkin goes down in New England
Craig Weir, the current record holder for the largest pumpkin grown in New
England 914 pounds, a few years ago, lost a 1000 pound + pumpkin today. It
measured 178 and the over the top measurement was 389. It was lost to
Blossom End Split. It’s parent weighed under 500 pounds but had very good
blood lines. This supports Wayne’s skip year theory.
