Has anybody used expanded polystyrene balls mixed in the soil to keep soil warm and airy???? (Sorry organic people). Well - this is a good sign. After 64 rounds of golf taking swipes at 1008 holes averaging 6.77 per hole and walking a minimum of 301.780 Kilometers (Not that I count such things), I have actually scored a Birdie. A phenominal shot on the 6th using a No3 iron and putting a ten metres shot for this accolade of endurance. This has nothing to do with pumpkins but I have to tell the world as I was playing on my own and had the entire course to myself. I did tell Teresa who resonded with a "yes - that's nice" . I take this as a sign that all is well and it really is time to put in the seed that will take me to a speedier victory. There really are some sad stories about arn't there? Fancy losing a 550 and a 1000+ pounder. It is nerve racking to hear these stories of woe as we are about to set of on the precipitous path to pumpkin pleasures predominating in perilous perplexities. (Sorry - I had to stop for a P). It is without doubt that the promise of Spring has meant the annual dusting off the velourous velocipede and the annual trip that cements the thought that excercise is no substitute for staring at the vege patch for hours on end remains intact forever in my mind. DID YOU KNOW that according to OTT and speigfeld ?? that a golfball weighs nothing which probably explains a lot for my game!!! Have a 'Parky' day!
