Hi Mike,
I think this is an excellent idea. I really feel bad for those whose
pumpkins split, cracked, exploded, etc. How disheartening, after putting
so much effort into something & then to have the pumpkin go sour. I was
really lucky this year - had a big dose of "beginners luck" and a lot of
help from the pumpkin group & grew a really nice pumpkin, but the whole
time kept waiting for something to happen. I may not be so lucky next
year & it would be nice to something like this to acknowledge our
efforts. I posted a picture of my Mr. Pumpkin on my web page at
