Re: the stumpless wonder



I'm interested.  Sounds great !!
Isn't  it  incredible that these things can grow  without the stump!!
Since I cut one of my pumpkins over a week ago. The part of the plant that
no longer is attached to the stump, has had a major growth spert and has set
and open pollinated at least 6 baby pumpkins . I had tried repeatedly to set
other pumpkins on this same main vine all summer with out success.
I'm going to take down the wood cuck fencing and let the thing run wild all
over the field , to see what will happen.
May be  next year after I have a good pumpkin set I will try  cutting the
main vine  to see how it will do . very interesting.
Do you bury your vines alot ?
