Pumpkin Flower,
I think a mini weigh-off is in order then. Let's set some rules. Here
are my suggestions for qualifying. (I'd like your advice/suggestions.)
1. First year grower.
2. Small growing area (under 500 sf? Less? ???).
3. (2) "date set" categories: before 8/1/98 and after.
4. As late a date as possible. (May there be an Indian Summer!)
5. No taunting.
6. Like Seinfeld's "Master of Your Own Domain" contest: Honesty.
If anyone would like to comment/advise/be involved in/on this humble
little idea you are hereby invited to do so.
