I can't help you with measurements on the parent , but I work with a
friend who also is growing the 779.5 Bobier. We are in east central
Iowa to give you an idea on location. Last tuesday it measued out just
over 400# 121 x 77 x 78 . this was a late setter. very pale in color and
strange shape . to desribe it would be to say large shoulders and large
blossom end with a swale in between. The plant has the largest stump
(wish I had a stump) inside joke, and vine I have ever seen. no ribs
showing yet.how big is you pumpkin and what shape?
