It is getting very close to the time when only poundage counts. Another season
almost over. 1998 has been a real learning experience for many. I will be
eating the Altoona version of crow this year, Colonel Saunder disguised
chicken. Joe Mills, remember him, probably has a pumpkin bigger than mine and
he will be passing out awards to all of the SPGA members with pumpkins that
exceed mine in weight. I should be "famous" and in fact, a household word
throughout the south. Not exactly the way I wanted though.
