I hope you are correct in your assumption. I dissected a 30 day old, estimated
320lb. fruit from my 977 the other day, wall thickness was 2-3in max. 
My best pumpkin is on that plant ,so hopefully it is getting thicker. I doubt
very much they would weigh to ott estimate at that thickness. Should have
weighed it.
