Dan,
Never fooled around with the sugar, can't tell you if it is good , bad, or
neutral. I was foliar spraying fish and seaweed the other day...so I do it
too. Root feeding and foliar feeding is like your skin absorbing something or
swallowing it. If I wanted alot of something to get into the plant, I would
introduce it through the roots. If i wanted to get alot of something into my
body I would swallow it , not spray it on my skin. I don't think I'll be
swallowing any fish emulsion any time soon though.
