re:stumpless wonder

so nice of you to ask!! he was pollinated on the 17th of july and i
found the vine in an extreme state of rot on the 24 of july. I was able
to grab the vine and literally put all 4 fingers through it. so it was
like this for some time before the 24th when 
i cut it off along  with the first 3 .5 feet of main.So you could say
the pumpkin's growth has been entirely on side vine tap roots, no 
stump!!I also had one on the first side vine that had to be cut off the
stump and main.It was about 30" in cir. when this accured. I let it grow
to see what would happen. It only had about 8 to 10 foot of vine.
yesterday that one measured  99" in cir. cool huh!!!
