Growers,
Today marks the 49th straight day since it rained on my
pumpkin patch (just thought I'd throw that in there).I've
watered them the best that I can given the limited
amount of time I get to spend tending to them.
Question: Is there any way to rid the 2 or 3 plants (that I've
started devoting my time to) of powdery mildew?
I continue to spray with Captan about every 2nd or 3rd day,
but it doesn't seem to help. Are they too far gone to try to save?
Help, people, these are my Castellucci 743.2 and 410's, plus
my Kunde 380 that I'm talking about! I've gotta keep them
growing another 40 days because I've entered a local contest
for biggest pumpkin and it's being held the 30th and 31st of
October. I welcome any and all advice. Thanks!
