I NEED BROCK 561 POLLEN!

Hey, I was thinking to try crossing the Brock 561 (1006 x 941 Eaton) with the
627.5 Hester (the same plant that produced "Scar"). The 561 is supposed to be
a slow starter, but GREAT genetics and good size fruit (although late). I
figure of the FAST growing Hester was crossed with the slower growing (but
STRONG genetic background for weight), might produce offspring where the
growth would be evened out, plus maybe less likelihood of splitting (anyone
have splitting problems with the 561? I haven't heard of any I don't think).
Anyway, what does everyone else think about this cross? Has anyone else done
this cross? Can anyone think of a BETTER cross?
My Hester was planted REALLY late, so it will be another 2 weeks before it has
female flowers, (but hopefully I can greenhouse it or something until I get a
pumpkin with some decent seeds at least). Would it work if someone sent me
some male flowers in the mail, (how long is the pollen good for after picked)?
I have a 618 Wallace growing (selfed 567 Mombert), and a Brock 591 (selfed 887
Orr), that I can use for pollenating the Hester if all else fails. But don't
you think that the 561 would be better as the father, or not? I want some
REALLY good seeds to give out to all you guys (and to grow myself!) for next
year, so let me know your opinions!!!!
