Fwd: Weigh-off

Altoona PA is a GPC site sponsored by The PA Giant Pumpkin Growers
Association, some of the best people on earth. There is no entry fee. There is
no preregistration. The is no requirement to belong to any particular
organization. All you have to do is come and bring your pumpkin, squash or
watermellon with you. We will start to weigh at 10 AM and hope to be done by 1
PM. If you make it to Altoona, ask anyone how to get to Sam's Club. It is
right next to Walmart. We will be right in front of Sams doing our thing. Some
of us will be eating hot dogs and hamburgers and we are all looking forward to
October 3. Even if you don't have anything to bring, give us a shot.

Glenn,
   What state are you located in? Topsfield has no preregistration
requirement, but you should contact Hugh Wiberg so he can plan on you coming.
Topsfield is open to growers from the 6 New England States. I believe Altoona
is open to anyone, so if you are from New Jersey, New York or Pa....Altoona
would be cool. Marv, thats your site isn't it?
