How lucky as I only need 99 of 'em....lol...
Seriously, how about having all who want a seed send in a s.a.s.e. (bubble
pack preferred) with $1 (0r $2 if you prefer) to be given to the pumpkin
organization of YOUR choice. Drawing by lot and only the first, say 50,
actually get a seed. Would make for fun and would help support the folks who
give of their time (and no doubt their own money) to publish one of those
many great newsletters, or support this sport/hobby that we all enjoy. If
someone is a member of the organization you select they get two chances in
the draw (membership number required). Just a thought, especially since
maybe one of the reasons Gus wants to pass the baton is that it costs too
much to be the lead dog.
