About two weeks ago, a snow white pumpkin started turning orange around the
ribs.
Then, about a week ago, the pumpking started turning green, beginning at the
stem and working outward. It is now 15% green.
Has anyone else experienced this? I wonder if I should remove the shading to
"force" it to turn orange...
This is my biggest pumpkin ever, 146" circumference. 308 OTT .
Thanks.

I have only seen one AG every react to shade this way, my 553 I grew in 1993.
The Pumpkin was a cream color. Anywhere that leaves covered the Pumpkin it was
a light green and if you scraped the green with your fingernail it was orange
just underneath, like a second skin.
