Sorry to hear about Fat Boy's demise. If only it could have lasted a few
more days. Is there anyway you can weigh it? Possibly cut into chunks
and put it on a bathroom scale. This way you will know exactly what you
did this year. It will give you something to shoot for next year. As
for coming to Elk Grove definitely you should come with your back up
pumpkin. It will give you a chance to meet a lot of fun people and pick
up a few tips for next year. It takes a whole lot of info to grow the
big ones and everybody learns a little every time we meet. Besides there
is always the mystery prizes in the pumpkin category.
