Ah Crapola, John ! ........i was a little nervous when you said you had
stopped growing......they seem to grow at least a inch a week...towards the
end of our season..must be a crack underneath some where.....or
gopher......who knows but making it to a weigh off is tough....ive lost
them 2 days before......the big show ...........I would definetly bring
your 260 to ELK GROVE.......bring the family...theres good fun to be had by
all!........you can meet all kinds of growers ...some closer than
Boonville.....anyway you can cut it up and weigh it?.......get your son to
do it.................what a great feat for a first year grower in their
backyard...............700............look for clues for what
happen.....too much moisture around the pumpkin, check the vine going into
the stem rot there etc........but i tell ya you had a fast ship ....and
this game isn't for whimps.......you did real well hope to see at Elk
Grove..!!!....................brock
