We have built 6 heaps of manure and compost ready for the 6 strongest
plants (a bit over-optimistic I'd say!) on a piece of ground about 1/2 a
hectare in size. This is +/- 1.2 acres as far as I can tell. I can't find
a conversion table to work out how many square feet there are to an acre or
hectare, but Buster (my hubby) insists that this plot is big enough. Is he
right or would we be crowding the plants (assuming that any more grow)? A
second pot shows signs of germination - the soil is cracking and hopefully
we'll have another plant soon.
