Hello Pumpkin Growers:
I hope everyone has enjoyed this growing season. I just can't believe how
much time I dedicated to all of the plants. Well, I believe that some time
back I mentioned something about Week Seeds weigh off. What I will share here
are the unofficial results told to me by a reliable source.
1st. place Stellpflug 1056.5 lbs.
2nds. place Richard Baird 815 lbs.
3rd-4th place Al Eaton tied 780 lbs.
McDonald 780 lbs.
I understand there is a 635 lbs, and a 616 lbs. I believe I took 8th place
with my 614 lbs.
This is all I've heard and we'll have to wait for the Official announcement by
Week Seed.
Now on another matter, there has been some confusion between myself and Al
Eaton. Let me make it clear that Al Eaton is the true Master Pumpkin grower.
I am a first year grower and I do use my screen name as Mastrpumkn and I sign
my e-mail as Alan R. of Durham, CT.
I plan on attending the Topsfield weigh off and hope to meet a lot of you
fellow pumpkin growers. It will be my pleasure. Best of luck to all.
