Genetics of Seeds

Question To All
    This my first year of tring to grow a giant pumpkin.I planted aa
seed I got from Howard Dill that was from a 600lb. pumpkin.It matured
early at 134lbs. My question is the seeds I took out of this pumpkin
will they grow a pumpkin bigger than 134 lbs next year or should I not
expect them to do any better than they did this year.
