Re: weighoff requirements
Jim:
Why not add the rule, the pumpkin, can be opened, on site, if anyone
thinks there is hanky panky going on, as in drag racing, you put up cost of
putting engine back together & they take it apart. (Not your choice !) If it
is found cheating, you get your money back & they go home with their tail
between their leg's, never to show again. All people are not honest although
we like to think they are. I don't suppose pumpkin people are any different,
since finding out that some people are selling seed at $10 US ea. I'am
disappointed. What happened to PVP laws.
Some of us new growers do not know what size split or crack is
acceptable
at a weighoff. The veterans do, that leaves us at a great disadvantage if
they will
not open the pumpkin on site to determent if split or crack goes into cavity.
That's the view from here.
