Pumpkin Pool Update
Guess the weight of the heaviest pumpkin grown this season!
The Pumpkin Pool has proven to be a popular activity. So far we have 68
entries ranging from the 900s to the 1300's. Most guesses are clustered
in the 1000-1100 range and many are supporting their lower weight
guesses with talk of bad weather and poor pumpkin crops.

If you have not yet entered your guess, remember that the pool
officially closes at midnight, September 30th. If you read this
message, you are eligible to enter. Please email me:
1. Your guess in pounds
2. Your name
3. Your province or state
4. Your email address.
I'm still looking for more donations of prizes. For those of you who
are growing monsters with distinguished lineage, the donation of a few
seeds would be appreciated (you don't have to send them to me, the
winner can simply send you an SASE). One of our most recent prize
donations was a $10 Canadian. For you non-Canucks, that's about $7
American on a good day. It may come in the form of a purple $10 bill,
two blue $5 bills, 5 toonies or 10 loonies -- you gotta love this crazy
country!
