Frost
Last night the temperature dropped to 32 degrees and thus ended the
growing season for the pumpkins in the patch. This frost was was about
ten days before the normal first frost date. :( Got the pumpkins
covered, but the leaves and vines were not. The pumpkins looked OK, but
the leaves looked like wet wash rags on a stick. Time for the weighoffs!
