I killed Jack Frost
Well, I fooled him anyway. We spent a few hours the last couple of nights
making sure everything was covered with floating row cover, then pitched huge
tents over those, one for each pumpkin plant. Then put in about 50 gallons of
hot 150 degree water under it all to keep the temp a cozy 80 degrees all
freaking night. (OK not exactly 80, but well above any frost danger). Yeah,
wait to see what I do when a freeze warning comes.
