How to dry sunflower seeds?
I have these HUGH sunflowers from Buck Meier....I think the head on the most ripe one is at least 18" across. I want to dry all these seeds so that next year I can grow a whole garden of these. How do I go about this? Right now they dont look black yet...do they turn? Ive got 2 more heads coming too, so I should have lots of seeds for next year. My goal is to grow enough to keep me in bird seed all winter, and sunflowers all summer.
