Pumpkin Pool Prizes
Okay,
We have hit 81 guesses in the great pumpkin pool. I'm sure we cangather
100 before the closing date of midnight Spetember 30th (6 days away).
I see a lot of names on the list who have not yet entered a guess for
the heaviest pumpkin grown this season. Below is the list of the ten
prize packages members of this list have donated. If these don't entice
you to submit a guess, nothing will.
If you read this, you are eligible to enter.
Email me your guess in pounds (no half pounds, please include alternate
guesses), your name, your province/state and your email address.
Prizes:
The Grand Prize Winner receives first choice from the following prize
packages PLUS
-a plaque courtesy of the South Dakota Giant Pumpkin Growers
Association
-a pumpkin weight guessing patch donated by Pumpkin Flower
-two seeds of sound parentage from the Eatons
Second and third place finishers receive second and third choice from
remaining prize packages plus two seeds each from the Eatons.
The following seven winners will take turns choosing from the remaining
prize packages.

Once the top ten winners have been established, each will be contacted
and asked to produce a prioritized list of the prize packages they covet
the most. Distribution of prize packages will depend on the placement
of winners and their choices. Transportation and delivery of prizes
must be arranged between winner and donor. Appropriate email addresses
will be sent to each.
