Just a thought I have had. If anyone would be interested, I can
donate a packet of old-fashioned sweet pea seeds. If grown up a fence
around the pumpkin path they provide shade, privacy, and beautiful
scented flowers which grow all the better for being cut off as they
appear. I know that everyone on the list seems to enjoy growing other
plants as well as the mostimportant pumpkins so maybe someone would like
these. They come from a large garden in Cornwall which prides itself on
using only Victorian methods and actually grows pineapples and
bananas in England. I thought of seeds for the opium poppies grown in
the grounds of the 800 year old abbey near my house but am very unsure
of the rights and wrongs of such things. The monks used them medinally
and now the curator grows a wide [about 200] selection of herbs to
illustrate the knowledge that they had of treating illness so long ago.

If either, or both would be useful, let me know as I would love to
contribute something.

Best Wishes,

Jane Sealy in chilly wet Northern Ireland.
