Daniel, Thanks for your quick reply. The supplier knew what we wanted and they said it was coarse shred hardwood mulch, $30 per cu. yd. Our soil amendment was mushroom compost and it was not hot at all. That was mixed into the soil as we planted and used as a top dressing, about 1/2" thick on top.
