RE: Nicotiana : Germination and sowing?
Although I've never attempted it (perhaps I will with the N. gluaca, though
I doubt a perennial would want to be burned), I've been told that lighting
a few crumpled pages of newspaper on top of the pot should be sufficient to
fire treat most seeds.
