You may want to check a larger nursery if one is nearby. With a
greenhouse, (I envy you!) you'll be checking them out anyway. The
nurseries in the city about an hour from my home sell all kinds of pots
and a variety of labels. There are also mail order sources as you've
already heard.
I print the name on a little sticky label, put it on the pot and cover
it with a heavy, clear tape to protect from watering. Not as convenient
as labels but they don't wander. I'm dealing with a small amount of
flats (8-10) of pots and obviously this wouldn't work in the garden
although I used the same technique for flats set outside over winter and
so far so good.
Happy experimenting!
Jean sw wis where the hepatica are starting to bloom! Spring is here!
