I have propagated and transplanted about 40 flats which are now in the
process of slowly hardening off. I move them into a greenhouse in the am
and remove them in the pm, for now. Looking for opinions:
1. I water from the bottom by filling the 1020 flats/inserts with an inch
or two of water and letting them wick for an hour or so. Should I completly
drain all excess water each time I water or can I let excess water remain?
2. It has not been below about 35-37 degrees at night for awhile here. Can
I leave the flats after a week or so of hardening off outside in the
greenhouse at about a nighttime low of 37 degrees or should I wait for
warmer 45 -50 plus night temps?
Thanks,
Robert Tonkin
