Dear Amber:
If your chewed seedlings weren't from mice, then look for squash bugs.
They over winter indoors.
Something-- chipmunk, squirrel, mouse--ate a flat of irresistible
lettuce seedlings outdoors. Usually the first lettuce crops are hit
hard by the fellows. Meanwhile I keep sowing seeds.
