Hooray, things are coming out of the ground finally! I'm not normally
big on Vegetative Propogation, but I am quite excited to find that,
although it has been well behaved unlike some Artemisias, Artemisia
"Silver Frost" is spreading somewhat by runners and looks suitable for
propogation by division, which even I can do. :-)
I have been told not to expect these cultivars and varieties to come
true from seed, so this is great news to me; it is silvery blue like
Artemisia stelleriana, etc. but the foilage is so dense and lacy and
intricate that it is quite extraordinary, much like but much easier than
that [ex-Halda] Chrysopsis left root-up in the yard last year
by...(shhhh!) :-) (cats!)
(in order to spare us all the trouble of the millions of inquiries I
will doubtlessly receive, :-) it came from Sandy Mush Herb Nursery
since I couldn't find it elsewhere)
Hooray!
