I hope real experts will jump into this soon especially if they
disagree, but I surface-sow in covered containers at @72*F but they seem
they might take a little more, or I just sow them outside with a thin
covering and keep failrly moist about a week; all the Marigolds I have
tried have been good germinators outdoors except the white one, "Vanilla
Ice-Cream" or something like that.
