I do not want to start a war on this list so, please reply, if you feel you

Creating a list is like having someone visit your home...  It is something
you have created and something you pay for.  A list runs on your server and
you pay for the time and or space that it requires.  Therefore, you can set
the standards for conduct because it is yours - you pay for it.  If a
visitor enters my home and does not abide by the standards of conduct that
I feel are appropriate for my residence, he/she is warned once and then if
there is no compliance, he/she is very quickly shown the door in a
dignified fashion if possible and if not possible, then however....

This is Duncan's list.  He created it and he alone can and should set the
standards.  He is quite capable of pulling the plug on the whole list and
or an individual.  I am quite surprised that he has not pulled the plug on
some of the posters.  And, as for "Someone telling me what to do"....  Set
up your own list.   If you are in my home and do not comply with my
standards of conduct....  Yes, you damn well will be told what to do...

So, To all of you.  If you can not comply with the restrictions that Duncan
has placed on HIS list, you have one option and it is called "Unsubscribe"!

Again,  I do not wish to start a public war on this list.  So, if you like
and or feel you have to reply....  do so to <plantnut@shadow.net>...  But,
understand this,  I will give no quarter!
