I till mine into the garden at the end (or beginning) of each year. My
assumption is that nothing that is nasty in a microsystem (i.e., the
greenhouse tray) is likely to survive in a macrosystem (like the garden).
My logic is based on the fact that sunlight, air, a wider temperature
fluctuation, and a good healthy garden soil are going to minimize the
impact of the damping-off fungi once outdoors.
