May I suggest a comprehensive book on subject by

I have just purchased both original edition and supplement and they are
thorough. First Third of June, 1993, edition of Seed Germination Theory
and Practice concerns techinical data on germination --inihibitors,
rates, photoeffects, storage. The remainder is listing of plants by
nomenclature (latin)and coded detail on germination success and failure.
Supplement, March, 1996, is an addendum to his research (several repeats
due to indepth new results and new species tested).
