I have a Daphne X burkwoodii, which is spreading so much that it
is no long an attractive bush. It is about four feet tall, and about
6- 8 feet across. The year before last, it suffered badly due
to snow damage. It is about ten years old and extremely fragrant,
but it has flattened out. How severely can I prune this bush without
damaging it? Any advice will be appreciated .
