I would wait until I could see some of the pods turning yellow, (don't wait
too long, or you'll end up with the slimmy mess that I talked about earlier)
then I would mow the entire area down with my lawnmower and drop the clippings
on your shaded clay area and allow it to rot this summer. I bet next year you
will have scillia and anemones in this area to die for.
