Did this get a reply? Sorry if I missed it. FWIW, I have not tried them,
but have a bunch and plan on it. Dirr says they are slow, double dormancy
if planted in fall....so, I plan on sowing and putting the pots outside
with others and letting time pass to see what happens. Tom Clothier's
woody plant seed germination list says sow outside for germination in two

You can probably hurry the process by refrigerating for two or three months
in damp medium or damp paper towels in a plastic bag; bringing into warmth
for a couple of months and then repeating the process or leaving them out
for the winter.
