Hello George,
Tip cuttings should be 3.75cm to 7.5cm, leaves should still be green, not
turning red, stem should be firm, make the cut just above where the stem is
brown, fungicide dip, IBA 1250-1870ppm, mist. More may be found in The
Reference Manual of Woody Plant Propagation by Dirr and Heuser.
