The best way to propagate Nandina domestica for non-commercial purposes is to
choose good parent plants and with a sharpened spade to cut a circle around them.
Within several months the Nandina will oblige by producing offsets without the
necessity for special equipment, tools, or effort. Micropropagation is the prefered
method by the large commercial nurseries.
