Hi,
I divide my yuccas all the time. I just divide them, cut most of the
foliage off, and replant where I want them. They grow quite well that
way. And YES, if any root is left in the ground (at least with mine)
where you dug them up, you will get more yuccas......:o) Stubborn
little buggers!
