I collected seeds of Triosteum perfoliatum or aurantiacum in the Beaver Lake area of NW Arkansas in the beginning of July, and I am now eager to sow them, and I am currently cleaning the seeds in water and some detergent, and I would like to know if anyone has any experience with sowing Triosteum species. I have tried before with seeds from different exchanges and alternating temperatures and outdoor treatments but without any success, and I am hoping that fresh seeds will give better results.
I was also able to collect some fresh Trillium seeds, and I plan on treating them with GA-3 once I have cleaned them, and then leave them outdoors over the winter. This is another genus that has proved difficult with dry stored seeds from exchanges.
Would appreciate any feedback I can get.
