I have four dense rows of blue and also white Agapanthus and the flowers
are fading (especially with the heat) I need to dead head the flowers
and I want to gather seeds especially from the white. Can I dead head
and cut off the seeds and then dry them or must I wait until they are
dried naturally.
Also, can they be scattered now or would it be best to refrigerate and
then sow them in the spring. Could I sew the seeds when I dead head the
plants. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am trying to get the
white plants in one boarder to be more dense--thus the reason for seed
gathering.
Any input would be appreciated.
