Just a reminder to all. Columbine and Delphinium seed collected now and
surface sown fresh will yield close to 100% germination. If allowed to
dry out and sown in the Spring, the germ. rate is much lower even after
a period of stratification.
It's almost foolproof, and even small seedlings can be transplanted
directly to the garden for the winter and all will bloom next summer.
For those new to the hobby, it's easy, and a cheap source of cut flowers
next year.
