Re: Flower Seed Harvesting

Two more thoughts on flower seed harvesting: first, for seeds that are likely
to pop open when you aren't looking, try enclosing the ripening pods in those
little muslin teabags which can be purchased inexpensively at gourmet shops.
Second,
recycle your junk mail envelopes by cutting them open across one narrow end
(unopened, of course) and take them outside with you when you collect seeds;
take a pencil to label each envelope, then stand the envelopes, open at tops,
in a shoe box or some other box which will keep them vertical. Let them dry
until fall.
